Love Bytes Reviews Dog-Eared Daydreams Butterfly-o-Meter TTC Books and More Today's guest post is at . . .
Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words (very much describes my writing style ;)) - 1% Inspiration I chat about how I got the idea for WDMTD and how a single story can have inspiration from many different places. Cheers! Next four stops on the tour, with another guest post or two, and of course, chances to win! All you have to do is leave a comment on the post to go in the draw. ;)
Scattered Thoughts and Rogue Words Open Skye Book Reviews Book Reviews and More by Kathy La Crimson Femme WDMTD, myself and Riptide have hit the virtual road for a blog tour and we'll be hitting several stops over the next five days. Each day I'll have a guest post or two where I'll chat about different elements of writing the book and my process in general. Feel free to drop by any of the blogs and check it out.
Today, I have two guest posts . . . Real Talk Book Talk - What's in a title? + review and chance to win! OMG Reads - Speaking of theme songs . . . + chance to win! Cheers!! My inaugural blog tour kicks off today with four stops. Come, watch me as I dork . . . eh, talk about the writing of Where Death Meets the Devil and if that isn't enough of an enticement, there is a chance to win a prize!!
Bayou Book Junkie Unquietly Me OMG Reads Real Talk Book Talk Where Death Meets the Devil finally hits the world at large in just over a week on the 26th February!!! To celebrate this, I cordially invite you all to join myself and Riptide on the blog tour.
I'll be talking about the importance of titles, theme songs, Pantsing (not what you think) and various other little oddities. And if the possibility of seeing me embarrass myself isn't enough temptation to join the tour, there will be a chance to win a prize!! Tour dates and blog sites can be found here at Riptide and I will be posting reminders of each blog stop as they come up. Cheers!!! *edited to add the start date. Sorry for any confusion!! A month off the release date for Where Death Meets the Devil and another review has come in, this time from Publishers Weekly!! They said . . . "Hayward ratches up the suspense in this action-packed piece, with constant twists and betrayals on all sides to keep things unpredictable. . . . parallel narratives of past and present allow surprises to be revealed at opportune times. Fans of tense action and smoldering romance will appreciate the emotional connection between Jack and Ethan; there’s plenty of chemistry and a great setup for future books." ~ Publishers Weekly Whoo hoo!!
I have to say again, thank you to everyone who's read and reviewed my book already. I am totally grateful and gobsmacked at the response. Fingers crossed it continues in a month's time when the book is released!! They said . . . "Where Death Meets the Devil is a stunning debut. It hits all the right marks as a well-plotted, well-paced and well-written romantic suspense novel." Yay!! The final new cover is here!! I have to admit, this is my personal favourite of the new covers. The colour scheme, the lightning and the bridge (important parts of the story) and a grimly determined Matt heading into a deadly confrontation. In other book news, found a package hidden away on my front patio today, containing these gorgeous goodies . . . Between this and the absolutely amazing reviews starting to come in, this whole thing is getting just a bit more real. And scary! The next big moment will be the actual release day. Eek!! I am absolutely blown away by the (so far) overwhelmingly positive reaction to my book from the early reviewers. Words cannot express how damn grateful I am that not only are people reading Where Death Meets the Devil, but enjoying it as well! Fingers crossed the good vibes keep happening when it hits the general public. |
